Are you interested in having the latest and greatest when it comes to your kitchen remodel?   Are you the person who believes that your new "investment" needs to comply with today's trends?   Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but in 5 years, your new glossy red shiny kitchen with concrete tops will be out of style.   Thats right, when you choose to put all of that money into a new kitchen, I would highly recommend staying away from anything that is labeled trendy.   If you want to be trendy, go buy a new pair of $200 jeans that you can wear for a year and then donate.   Go out and get the latest "Ed Hardy" shirt and wear that for a year.   But I urge you, please do not do this to your kitchen.   Stick with the tried and true basics such as white cabinets with a shaker door style.   You can make a Shaker style cabinet either contemporary or traditional based on the hardware you choose.   And by all means, go with either a granite or quartz countertop.
